This is the legacy website for Consultants for Educational Resources and Research, Inc. Founded in 1967 by Tedd Kelly, CERR was the first enrollment management consulting agency in the United States. From 1967 until 1997, Tedd and his consultants worked with more than 400 colleges and universities to develop recruitment marketing programs to increase enrollments, improve the quality and diversity of the client's student body, and to expand financial aid programs. During the 30 years that CERR was active in higher education, the firm pioneered a number of practices that are now standard in enrollment marketing, including developing the country's first automated date-driven direct mail program for higher education of geodemographic market research to enrollment marketing. Thousands of college and university admissions personnel attended one or more of the firm's training seminars. In 2002 Tedd Kelly published Going to College...Without the Stress, a guide to navigating the college admissions process. Prior to founding CERR, Tedd Kelly was the Director of Development at Ferrum College in Virginia from 1955-1965, where he led the College's first million dollar campaign in 1965. From 1965-1967 he was Director of Development at Mount Vernon College in Washington, D.C. He was a graduate of Emory University and the Candler Theological Seminary.
