FINANCIAL AID ANALYSIS

You may find it hard to compare one college's financial aid award with the other awards you receive. Since each college's financial aid award package is different, the comparison can create confusion for you. CERR will perform this analysis for a nominal fee. This analysis will include comparisons of grants, subsidized loans, non subsidized loans, work programs, and any special funding. The aid awards will be ranked in several ways: net cost to you, total loans your family will need, and the number of work hours the award requires you to work.

When questions arise about the wording, the meaning of terms, or the conditions for accepting the award, CERR will contact for you the colleges or universities to ask for explanations of the form, terms, and their policies. These inquiries will be generic in nature and will not make reference to you or your award.

CERR will not recommend which award to accept nor will it negotiate in your behalf with institutions to get a better award.
